Backup and Recovery: Ntiva’s DRaaS with SkyDataVault offers automated backup of your critical data, applications, and systems. In case of data loss or system failures, you can quickly recover files, folders, or entire systems from backup points.

Cloud-Based Recovery: Your data is securely replicated to Ntiva’s DRaaS with SkyDataVault cloud infrastructure, ensuring redundancy and availability. This cloud-based recovery option allows for offsite data retention and disaster recovery planning.

  • Offsite failover capabilities, including:
    • Virtualization failover to the cloud.
    • 30 Days of free virtual servers in the cloud
    • Access servers, data, applications in the cloud.
    • Public IP's and VPN access available for remote access.

Data Retention: Default 90 days backup retention

100% Cloud-Based Backup: No need for on-premise storage, proprietary appliance, or local backup to eliminate hardware maintenance and storage fees.

Management and Monitoring: The service includes management portal for configuring backups, monitoring system health, and managing recovery processes.

Deliverables

  • Cloud based repository created on Ntiva’s DRaaS with Skydatavault console.
  • Backup agents installed on all servers that require DRaaS solution.
  • Backups configured to clients policies or Ntiva’s default policy
    • Ntiva Standard Policy
      • Daily backup to cloud repositories
      • Daily backup maintained for 90 days
    • Previous backups solution removal
    • Alerts configured on backup repositories.

Service Workflow

Our service follows a structured workflow to ensure the effectiveness of data backup and recovery:

  • Initial Assessment: We assess your data protection needs and design a customized backup strategy.
  • Backup Configuration: Configure backup jobs, data sources, and retention policies.
  • Regular Backups: Scheduled automated backups to secure repositories.
  • Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of backup health and performance.
  • Alerts and Issue Resolution: Prompt alerts for any backup failures, followed by immediate issue resolution.
  • Data Recovery: In the event of data loss or system failure, initiate data recovery procedures.

Service Assumptions

  • Labor associated with normal operations will be billed to client’s service agreement.
  • Ntiva’s DRaaS with SkyDataVault has a soft upper limit for clients with an average of 2TB of used space per server. The solution can support higher data usage but will need be discussed with Ntiva Product Team.
  • Ntiva’s DRaaS with SkyDataVault provides data protection and recovery capabilities but does not guarantee the prevention of all data disasters.
  • Ntiva’s DRaaS with SkyDataVault does not include any local repository for on premise storage of client backups.
  • Ntiva’s DRaaS with SkyDataVault does not include a on premise location for recovering failed servers. Servers can be recovered to:
    • BareMetal server owned by client
    • VMware or Hyper V servers owned by client
    • SkyDataVaults Cloud.
  • Backup agent is compatible with the following operating systems
    • Windows Server 2016
    • Windows Server 2019
    • Windows Server 2022
    • Windows 10
    • Windows 11
  • Mac devices are supported with SkyDataVault agent however is not supported for cloud recovery. All Mac devices should use Ntiva Backup as a Service with SkyDataVault.
