       Service Components:

      Our Veeam Data Backup and Recovery service includes the following components:

      • Veeam Backup Application: Veeam’s backup application will be installed on a on-premises server or cloud based server based on client’s topology.
      • Backup Configuration: Initial setup and configuration of backup jobs, including data selection and scheduling.
      • Data Backup: Regular, automated backups of your critical data will be saved to an on-premise Veeam backup repository and copied to a secure offsite storage location in Microsoft Azure.
      • Data Recovery: Rapid recovery options to restore data and systems to a specific point in time.
      • Data Retention: Management of data retention policies to ensure compliance and efficient storage usage.
      • Monitoring and Alerts: Real-time monitoring of backup jobs with alerting for any issues or failures.
      • Reporting: Regular reports detailing backup and recovery performance and status.

      Service Workflow

      Our service follows a structured workflow to ensure the effectiveness of data backup and recovery:

      • Initial Assessment: We assess your data protection needs and design a customized backup strategy.
      • Backup Configuration: Configure backup jobs, data sources, and retention policies.
      • Regular Backups: Scheduled automated backups to secure repositories.
      • Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of backup health and performance.
      • Alerts and Issue Resolution: Prompt alerts for any backup failures, followed by immediate issue resolution.

      Deliverables

      • Establishment of a backup repository within an Azure FedRAMP High Facility.
      • Installation of Veeam Backup and Replication software on client server on-prem or in Microsoft Azure
      • Configuration of backups in accordance with client policies or the default policy provided by Ntiva.
        • Ntiva Standard Policy
          • Daily backup saved for 14 days on on-premises and off-site repository.
          • Weekly full backup for four (4) weeks on off-site repository
          • Monthly backups for four (4) months on off-site repository
          • Yearly backups saved on off-site repository for the duration of select backup commitments of clients
        • Removal of the previous backup solution.
        • Configuration of alerts for Ntiva’s Veeam Backup and Replication service.

      Task 1 – Project Management and Deployment

      • Onboarding team will deploy Ntiva’s Backup and Replication with Veeam via onboarding standards.
      • Install and License Veeam on Clients on-premises or cloud based server
      • Configuration of Veeam Local Repository for on-premises restorations
      • Configuration of Azure Repository for off-site repository
      • Configuration of Encryption for security compliances
      • Configuration of Scale Out Repository for automation of off-site replication
      • Installation of agents on client servers
      • Creation of Backup Jobs adhering to client or Ntiva standard retention policies
      • Summary and Documentation Update

      Task 2 – Normal Operations

      This phase includes routine day-to-day operations of Ntiva’s Backup and Recovery with Veeam Service:

      • Backup Alerts
        • Failed backups
      • Data restoration requests
        • File recovery
        • Folder recovery
        • On premise server recovery
          • Virtual (Vmware and Hyper-V)
          • BareMetal
        • Cloud Server recovery
          • Virtual into Microsoft Azure Tenancy

      Service Assumptions

      • Labor associated with normal operations will be billed to client’s service agreement.
      • Ntiva’s Backup and Replication with Veeam provides data protection and recovery capabilities but does not guarantee the prevention of all data disasters.
      • Ntiva has ability to manage clients servers via Ntiva installed tools to ensure Veeam backup functionality.
      • Ntiva does not need to supply the Microsoft Azure Subscription and client can purchase directly from Microsoft.
      • Ntiva must have Contributor or owner access to Azure Subscription to configure Microsoft Azure Storage components.
      • Service requires a Client server for Veeam backup and Replication to function
        • Server will need Premium Managed Server for support and monitoring functionality
        • Selected Server can be combined with Veeam SaaS backup for 365 Services.
      • Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Server requirements
        • Hardware:
          • CPU: Any modern multi-core x64 processor, 4 cores minimum. 8 Cores recommended
            • 1 CPU core (physical or virtual) per 10 concurrently running jobs.
          • Memory: 8 GB RAM minimum, 16 GB RAM recommend
            • 4 GB RAM per 10 concurrently running jobs.
      • Disk Space: 40 GB for product installation, additional free space for configuration and local cache databases (varies based on usage), and space for product logs.
      • Repository Space: 3x client storage for growth and recovery

        • Microsoft Windows Server 2016
      • Veeam Supported architecture:
      • Virtualized Infrastructure (VMware):
